On Wednesday morning, at Belair, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the students at the St John’s Grammar School Reconciliation Assembly.
In the afternoon, at North Adelaide, the Governor, who is patron of Recitals Australia, and Mr Bunten, attended Recitals Australia’s Lunch Hour Recital series, featuring flautist Ms Paula Custodio and pianist Mr Haowei Yang.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for graduates, recipients, and supporters of the SA Health Aboriginal Health Scholarship Program.
In the evening, at Elder Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the 17th
annual Lowitja O’Donoghue Oration, ‘Looking Back to Look Forward – lessons from the past to influence actions of the future’, delivered by Professor Tom Calma AO.
During the day, students from the Thebarton Senior College New Arrival Program toured Government House.
