On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor spoke by telephone to Mrs Pamela Wall AO.

Later, the Governor received the Premier, the Honourable Peter Malinauskas MP, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, and officiated at the swearing-in of new Ministers and a Parliamentary Secretary, before, together with Mr Bunten, hosting refreshments for those attending the ceremony.

Afterwards, the Governor received Ms Nicole Chaplin, Chair; Mr David Panter, Past Chair; and Mr Ross Womersley, Chief Executive Officer, South Australian Council of Social Service.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to celebrate 50 years of Bene Aged Care.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Rob Jaeschke and Mrs Lyn Jaeschke of Hill River Wines, followed by a dinner.
