On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Rachael Azzopardi and Mr Lee Cumberlidge, Co-Founders and Creative Directors, Illuminate Adelaide; and Mr Sam Wright, Executive Producer, Illuminate Adelaide.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Helen Connolly, Commissioner for Children and Young People.

Later, at Government House, the Governor hosted a reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps making an official visit to South Australia. Guests also included The Honourable Peter Malinauskas, Premier; The Honourable Dr Susan Close, Deputy Premier; The Honourable Tom Koutsantonis; The Honourable Nick Champion; Senator the Honourable Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs; Senator the Honourable Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism, and Mrs Nimfa Farrell; The Honourable Jing Lee and Mr Eddie Liew; Mr Tim Whetstone and Ms Della Brinsley; and Senator the Honourable Simon Birmingham, Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Afterwards, at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, the Governor attended a special screening of ‘Resonate’, held as part of Illuminate Adelaide.
