On Wednesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor participated in the Corporate Cup.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Tim Whetstone MP, Shadow Minister for Trade and Investment and Member for Chaffey.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Catherine Linley, Member, Seven Seas Club of Australia Inc.

Afterwards, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the Governor, as patron of the Royal Automobile Association of South Australia (RAA), accompanied by Mr Bunten, attended the RAA Street Smart High Event.

Later, at Government House, the Governor spoke by telephone to Ms Karen Redman, Mayor, Town of Gawler.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten departed Adelaide for an official visit to the Eyre Peninsula.

In the evening, in Whyalla, the Governor hosted a dinner for representatives from the Whyalla City Council. Guests included Mr Phill Stone, His Worship the Mayor, Whyalla City Council and Mrs Bronwyn Stone; Mr Justin Commons, Chief Executive Officer, Whyalla City Council; and Ms Kathy Jarrett, Director Corporate, Whyalla City Council, before travelling to Cowell.

During the day, students from St Anthony’s School toured Government House.
