On Wednesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor continued her visit to the Southern Flinders Ranges at Orroroo Area School, where she met Mr Pete Usher, Principal, Ms Bek Rasheed, Governing Council Chair, Ms Kerry Duffy, Primary Leader, Ms Tessa McNamara, Middle Leader, Ms Nicole Higgins, Student Voice Lead, Orroroo Area School; and Master Ashby Thomas, President, and Miss Millie Rowe, Vice President, Orroroo Student Voice, followed by a morning tea prepared by Year 11 and 12 Home Economics Students.

Also in the morning, at The College of Science and Engineering at Flinders University, Mr Bunten toured the Megafauna Fossil Specimen.

Afterwards, at Peterborough, the Governor met Ms Taylor Meyer, Principal, and Miss Isabella White, St Joseph’s School Peterborough, and student leaders, before returning to Government House in the afternoon.

Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the 2025 Zonta Young Women in Leadership Awards.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Sebastian Galipo, Managing Director, Galipo Foods, and Ms Linda Raschella, Ms Lisa Galipo, Mrs Deanna Farnell, Mrs Helen Dowdy, Mr Andrew Dowdy, and Mrs Catherine Emmerson, followed by a dinner.

During the day, students from Concordia College toured Government House.
