On Wednesday morning, at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Her Excellency the Governor delivered the official opening address at the Women’s and Children’s Health Network Research Week.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received the Honourable Terry Stephens MLC, President, Legislative Council.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Rui Gao, Counsellor, and Mr Yan Li, Deputy Director, Political Department, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China; and Mr Jiangchuan He, Deputy Consul-General, Chinese Consulate-General in Adelaide.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten, who are Joint Patrons of the Children’s Week Association of South Australia, hosted a reception to present the 2023 Children’s Week Awards.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Liz Broderick AO, Founder and Convenor, Champions of Change Coalition.

Later, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at the National Wine Centre of South Australia, the Governor, who, together with Mr Bunten, is joint patron of StudyAdelaide, addressed the guests and presented awards at the 2023 International Student Awards.

In the evening, at the University of South Australia – City West Campus, the Governor, who is patron of the Leaders Institute of South Australia, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented awards at the Youth Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program 2023 Graduation Ceremony.

Later, at the Arkaba Hotel, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, presented an award at the Impact100 South Australia Grants Award Night.

During the day, students from St Joseph’s School Hindmarsh toured Government House.
