On Wednesday afternoon, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten paid a call on Mrs Pamela Wall, OAM.

Afterwards, by telephone, Her Excellency discussed the situation of flood affected areas in the Riverland and mid‑Murray with the Governor‑General, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), in light of His Excellency’s visit to the region earlier in the week.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Mr Bunten hosted a Burns Supper. Guests included the Honourable Chris Picton MP, Minster for Health and Wellbeing; the Honourable David Speirs MP, Leader of the Opposition; Mr Keith Wilson, Chair, Australian Red Cross – South Australia Division and Ms Sheree Tirrell; Mr Rob Croser, Artistic Director, Independent Theatre, South Australia, and Mr David Roach; and Mr Kevin Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer, Santos, and Mrs Sonia Gallagher.

During the day, staff from Playford College toured Government House.
