On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Leon Bignell MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

Afterwards, at Blakeview, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, visited Blakes Crossing Christian College for a tour and conversation with the students,

Later, at Government House, the Governor received The Honourable Terry Stephens MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor hosted a luncheon for members of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue. Guests were Lieutenant General Stephen Sklenka, Deputy Commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, and Scholar, Australian American Leadership Dialogue; The Honourable Tony Smith, Executive Co-Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Australian American Leadership Dialogue; Mr Reg Carruthers, Acting Chief Executive, Defence SA; Professor Anton Middelberg, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Research), University of Adelaide; Ms Julie Singer Scanlan AO, Executive Co-Chair and Executive Director – Strategy and Program, Australian American Leadership Dialogue; Lieutenant General (Retired) Rick Burr AO DSC MVO, Strategic Advisor, University of Adelaide.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Chris Menz, Chief Executive, Renewal SA.

Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for Coober Pedy Together.

In the evening, at Elder Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the 2024 Hugh Stretton Oration delivered by Ms Danielle Wood, Chair, Productivity Commission, followed by a dinner.

During the day, students from St Brigid’s School toured Government House.
