On Wednesday at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr James Stevens MP, Federal Member for Sturt.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mr Bunten departed for Canberra to attend the National Memorial Service for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

In the evening at Government House, Canberra, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a dinner hosted by His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret'd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley with State Governors and the Administrator of the Northern Territory.

Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Dr James Muecke AM to be Governor's Deputy from 12:00 pm on Wednesday, 21 September 2022 until 8:30 pm on Thursday, 22 September 2022.
