On Wednesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten undertook a Vice Regal visit to the City of Prospect Council, where, at Broadview Oval, they met with Mr Matt Larwood, Mayor, and Mr Chris White, Chief Executive Officer; and afterwards they toured the Broadview Community Sports Hub and were briefed on operations, followed by a morning tea with council and community members.

The Governor and Mr Bunten then, accompanied by Mr Larwood and Mr White, visited the Collinswood Men’s Shed and North Road Cemetery and were briefed on operations.

Afterwards at Prospect, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Payinthi, where the Governor read a book to children during Storytime in the Library, followed by a tour of the facilities and the Newmarch Gallery exhibition space.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mr Bunten, after lunch at Tirkanthi Kuu, a walking tour of Prospect Road and afterwards toured Prospect Oval, the Air Raid Shelter and Prospect Community Garden, before returning to Government House.

In the evening the Governor, as patron of Foodbank SA & NT, and Mr Bunten, hosted a reception to thank supporters, service providers and volunteers.

Afterwards at Rymill Park, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the performance of 27 Club, as part of the Adelaide Fringe.
