On Wednesday morning at Government House Her Excellency the Governor received members of the House of Assembly for the presentation of the new Speaker of the House of Assembly.

After the Governor received Ms Rhana Devenport ONZM, Director, and Dr Lisa Slade, Assistant Director of Artistic Programs, Art Gallery of South Australia, followed by a luncheon.

In the afternoon the Governor received Mr Rick Persse, Chief Executive, Department for Education.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for Year 12 students representing their schools from across the state.

Later at the National Wine Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, presented awards at a gala dinner celebrating 60 years of research at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, hosted by the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research.
