On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Senator the Honourable Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Mr Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kingdom of Thailand; and Her Excellency Ms Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, and their delegations, who then convened the Australia Thailand Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

In the afternoon the Governor received Mr Daniel Boyer, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Australian Trade and Investment Commission.

In the evening, the Governor, who is Chair of the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee for South Australia, hosted a dinner for 2025 Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee. Guests included Dr Rachel Buxton, Deputy Chair; Professor Helen Marshall AM; Dr Kelli Francis-Staite; Mr Bruce Djite; Mr David Reynolds PSM; and Professor John Williams AM.
