On Wednesday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor was interviewed by Mr David Penberthy and Mr Will Goodings, 5AA Breakfast Show.

Afterwards the Governor received Ms Penny Pratt MP, Member for Frome.

Later the Governor was interviewed by Ms Ali Clarke, Mix 102.3 Breakfast Show.

In the mid-morning the Governor received Mr Tosh Hanasaki, Regional Manager and Vice President, Japan Airlines and New Zealand; Mr Kotaro Kurono, Managing Director, and Mr Seiji Takaramoto, Director, J-air; Mr David Reynolds, Chief Executive, Department for Trade and Investment; and Mr Rodney Harrex, Chief Executive, South Australian Tourism Commission.

Afterwards at the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Governor and Mr Bunten toured the 2022 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Free/State.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received The Honourable Stephen Mullighan MP, Treasurer.

Later the Governor received the Honourable Speaker and Members of the House of Assembly and its officers, to be presented by them with the Address-in-Reply to Her Excellency the Governor’s speech of 3 May opening the current session of Parliament.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten received The Honourable John Sulan QC and Mrs Ali Sulan.

Afterwards at SkyCity Adelaide, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Australia Japan Business Cooperation Committee Dinner hosted by the Department for Trade and Investment and Australian Japan Business Co-Operation Committee.

During the day, students from St Peter's Woodlands Grammar School toured Government House.
