On Tuesday, Her Excellency the Governor continued her official Vice-Regal visit to Vietnam to promote South Australia.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the Governor witnessed the Memorandum of Understanding signing between South Australia horticulture exporter 4 Ways Fresh, and Vietnamese Red Dragon Co., and partnership with Dong Tien Group, and Quang Phuoc Group.
The Governor then attended a StudyAdelaide Presentation Ceremony: University Study Support Association, to demonstrate South Australia’s commitment to furthering education outcomes for Vietnamese students.
Later, the Governor attended the Scotch College Australian Grammar School to engage with students currently studying SACE and to promote further South Australian education opportunities.
Afterwards, the Governor attended a luncheon hosted by Ms Sarah Hooper, Consul-General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City, with prominent Vietnamese Australians.
Later, the Governor met with His Excellency Mr Nguyen Van Nen, Party Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City; followed by a meeting with Madam Ton Nu Thi Ninh, Patron of the Australia-Vietnam Leaders’ Dialogue.
The Governor then attended an engagement to promote South Australia’s premium wine products.
Afterwards, the Governor attended a dinner hosted by StudyAdelaide to acknowledge education agents’ commitment to their students, to international education and to South Australia during the Covid pandemic.
In the evening the Governor departed for Hanoi and where she was met by the Ambassador of Australia to Vietnam, His Excellency Mr Andrew Goledzinowski.
