On Tuesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor spoke by telephone to Mr Colin Cornish AM, Chief Executive Officer, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Tish Naughton, Chief Executive Officer, Feast Festival.
Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a luncheon for patronage organisations. Guests were Mr Simon Schrapel AM, Chief Executive Officer, Uniting Communities; Mr David Horne, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Lions Hearing Dogs; Ms Helen Graham, Chief Executive Officer, Autism SA; Mr Mike Feszczak, Chief Executive Officer, Grandcarers SA; Mrs Lenore Harris, Secretary, Inner Wheel District A70 South Australia; Mrs Marion McCall OAM, President, Mothers’ Union in the Diocese; Mr Jake Culkin, Chief Executive Officer, Royal Life Saving Society Australia – South Australian Branch; Mr James Sellers, Chief Executive Officer, Scouts SA; Ms Liza Jankowski, Chief Executive Officer, SIDS and Kids South Australia; Ms Ila Neighbour, President, South Australian Women’s Association; Mrs Jane Scotcher, Chief Executive Officer, Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation; Mr David Patterson, Chief Executive Officer, YMCA South Australia; and Ms Taicea Agnew, Chief Executive, Youth Opportunities Australia.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Derek Yip, Assistant Secretary, East Asia Political Branch, and Mr Lachlan Crews, Assistant Secretary, East Asia Economic Branch, East Asia Division, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr John Hood, Chancellor, Flinders University.
Later, at Government House, the Governor participated in a virtual meeting with Mr Michael Edgecomb, Facilitator, Coober Pedy Together.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of the Operation Flinders Foundation, held a reception to acknowledge the significant contribution of the volunteers of the Operation Flinders Foundation.
In the evening, at The Piccadilly, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the official opening of the SA History Festival.
