On Tuesday morning, at Bonython Hall, University of Adelaide, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the annual Julia Gillard Public Lecture, followed by a morning tea.

Afterwards, at Prospect, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, visited Blackfriars Priory School, toured the school and took questions from the students.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a welcome reception for delegates to the annual meeting of the World Wine Trade Group, of which Australia, through Australia Grape and Wine Inc., is currently Chair.

In the evening, at the Grand Lodge of Freemasons South Australia & Northern Territory, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of the Masonic Charities Trust, were guests of honor at a reception hosted by Freemasons SA&NT. Guests included representatives of charitable organisations of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are patrons, to one of which the Governor, on behalf of the Trust, presented a donation of $20,000.
