On Tuesday afternoon at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received His Honour Judge Rauf Soulio, Chair, Governor’s Multicultural Awards Judging Panel.

Afterwards, the Governor received the Honourable Marjorie Jackson-Nelson AC CVO MBE followed by a luncheon.

In the afternoon, the Governor accepted the resignation of a minister, presided over an Executive Council meeting and officiated at a swearing in ceremony for the new Deputy Premier, a new minister and a new parliamentary secretary.

Later the Governor placed a phone call to the former Governor, the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner for the members of the Shadow Ministry and their partners.
