On Tuesday Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten continued their Vice Regal visit to Whyalla and Port Augusta.

In the morning the Governor and Mr Bunten toured the Whyalla Steelworks and were briefed on operations.

In the afternoon at Port Augusta, the Governor and Mr Bunten met with Mr Brett Benbow, Mayor and Mr John Banks, Chief Executive, Port Augusta Council, and toured the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens, followed by a function at the Garden Café.

Later the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Sundrop Farms at Port Augusta and Kelly Tillage at Booleroo Centre and were briefed on operations, before returning to Adelaide in the evening.
