On Tuesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Peter Malinauskas MP, Premier of South Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to Mr Colin Cornish AM, Chief Executive Officer, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.

In the afternoon, in Murray Bridge, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, visited Murray Bridge High School for a tour of the school and conversation with the students and staff.

Afterwards, in Mannum, the Governor and Mr Bunten participated in the River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve Gold Stars Sunset Dinner as guests of Mrs Kelly Kuhn, Owner, Juggle House Experiences, including dinner at the Swan Reach Hotel and a visit to the Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park where Nganguruku Elder Ms Ivy Campbell conducted a tour.

Her Excellency has appointed Dr James Muecke to be Governor’s Deputy from 12:30pm on Tuesday, 17 October until noon on Wednesday, 18 October.

During the day, students from Christies Beach High School Student Voice group toured Government House.
