On Tuesday morning at the State Library of South Australia, Her Excellency the Governor, as patron of South Australian National Football League, and Mr Bunten, undertook a tour of the History Exhibition ‘Our footy, our people, our stories: 145 Years of SANFL’.

Afterwards at Government House, the Governor hosted a luncheon for Mr David Bevan, Presenter, ABC Radio Adelaide and ABC TV.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Professor Chris Daniels, Chief Information Officer, Department for Environment and Water, and Chair, Green Adelaide.

Later the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for Year 12 students representing their schools from across the state.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner for South Australian Awardees of Australian of the Year 2022. Guests included Mr Peter Tsokas, Chair, Australia Day Council of South Australia; Mrs Jan Chorley, Chief Executive Officer, Australia Day Council of South Australia, and Mr Don Chorley; Professor Helen Marshall AM, SA State Recipient Australian of the Year 2022, and Dr David Misan; Mr Mark Le Messurier, SA State Recipient Senior Australian of the Year 2022, and Ms Sharon Palm; Dr Trudy Lin, SA State Recipient Young Australian of the Year 2022; Ms Monique Bareham, SA State Recipient Local Hero 2022, and Ms Ursula Legierksi.
