On Tuesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Peter Malinauskas MP, Premier of South Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor, who is Chair of the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee for South Australia, hosted a luncheon for the 2025 Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee and candidates. The Committee consists of Dr Rachel Buxton, Deputy Chair; Mr David Reynolds PSM; Professor Justin Chalker; Mr Bruce Djité; Dr Kelli Francis-Staite; Professor Helen Marshall AM; and Professor John Williams AM, Rhodes Scholarships for South Australia State Secretary.

Later, the Governor hosted a reception to celebrate Playgroup SA’s 50 Year Anniversary and present the 2025 Playgroup SA Excellence Awards. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of Playgroup SA.
