On Thursday morning at Pilgrim Uniting Church, together with members of the SA Parliamentary Christian Fellowship, Her Excellency the Governor attended a service to mark the beginning of the 2023 State Parliamentary Year, where she delivered a reading.

Afterwards at Government House, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mr Bunten received Ms Kath Mainland CBE, Chief Executive, Adelaide Festival.

In the evening in the grounds of Government House, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented the Governor's Commendation Awards at the SACE 2023 Merit Ceremony hosted by the SACE Board of South Australia.
