On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, as part of their program of visits to iconic South Australian businesses, the Governor and Mr Bunten undertook a tour of Haigh’s Chocolate Factory at Mile End, followed by a tour of Haigh’s Chocolate Factory and Visitor Centre in Parkside.

In the afternoon, at St Mark’s College, Mr Bunten addressed the guests and presented life membership badges at a luncheon held by the Royal Commonwealth Society – South Australian Branch Inc to celebrate The King’s Birthday.

Later, in Adelaide, in light of the declaration of a Code Blue weather response, the Governor visited Baptist Care SA’s WestCare centre to meet and distribute food to people experiencing homelessness.
