On Thursday morning, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, delivered a reading at the service to mark the opening of the 2025 State Parliamentary Year.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, at Paralowie, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Paralowie R-12 School, where they addressed and took questions from the students.

In the evening, at SkyCity, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering at the Sammy D Foundation’s 2024 Impact Event. The Governor is patron of the Sammy D Foundation.

Today (Friday, 7 February) the Governor and Mr Bunten will open the grounds of Government House to the public for “Lunch on the Lawns”, including a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, and music provided by The Tea Tree Gully Redbacks Concert Band and Marching Band.
