On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Dr Richard Harris SC OAM to be Governor’s Deputy from 3:25pm on Thursday, 5 September 2024 to 5:00pm on Tuesday, 24 September 2024.
In the afternoon, His Excellency Dr Richard Harris SC OAM, as Governor’s Deputy, and Mrs Fiona Harris, hosted a reception to celebrate the 30th
Anniversary of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine.
The grounds of Government House will be open to the public on Friday, 5 September (today) from noon until 2pm as part of the Lunch on the Lawns program, including a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, and music provided by The Band of the 10th/27th Battalion Royal South Australia Regiment.
