On Thursday morning Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted investiture ceremonies for Australian Honours, including Public Service Medals, an Australian Corrections Medal and an Ambulance Service Medal.

The Governor and Mr Bunten also hosted a luncheon. Guests included Mr Tony Metcalf OAM, State Chairman, The Order of Australia Association (SA Branch) and Mrs Cheryl Metcalf; Mr Andy McPharlin PSM, President, SA Public Service Medal Association and Mrs Lynda McPharlin; Ms Hayley Mills, Acting Deputy Chief Executive, representing the Chief Executive, Department for Correctional Services; Ms Carolyn Sladden, SA Representative for the Council of the Order of Australia and the Australian Bravery Decorations Council; and Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor who assisted at the ceremonies.

In the evening the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the 2021 South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner hosted by the Tourism Industry Council South Australia.
