On Thursday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor received Ms Becc Bates PSM, Director Creative Industries, Arts South Australia, and Mr Douglas Gautier AM, Chief Executive and Artistic Director, Adelaide Festival Centre.

Afterwards, the Governor, as patron of Foodbank SA & NT, spoke by telephone to Mr Greg Pattinson, Chief Executive Officer, Foodbank SA & NT.

Later, at the Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia, the Governor, as patron of the Lyceum Club Adelaide, cut the cake at a luncheon in celebration of the Lyceum Club Adelaide’s 102nd birthday.

Afterwards, at the Adelaide Showgrounds, Her Excellency and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of the Quilters’ Guild of South Australia, selected a quilt for the ‘Patrons Award’ in the Festival of Quilts.

Later, at the Adelaide Zoo, Her Excellency, who is patron of the Royal Zoological Society of SA, Mr Bunten and Ms Katherine Bunten attended the opening night of Universal Kingdom: Prehistoric Nights.

In the evening, in Burnside, the Governor addressed the guests and presented awards at the Festival of Quilts Awards Presentation.

Also in the evening, at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, Mr Bunten and Ms Katherine Bunten attended Illuminate Adelaide’s Official Opening Night at Fire Gardens.
