On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor, as patron of the Migration Museum Foundation, and Mr Bunten, visited the Migration Museum.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Senator The Honourable Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism and Special Minister of State, and Mr Ben Rillo, followed by a luncheon.

Later, at Government House, the Governor was interviewed by Mr Rob George, Director and Writer.

In the evening, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the AFL Gather Round Official Function and the match between Adelaide Crows v Melbourne Demons.

The grounds of Government House will be open to the public today (Friday, 5 April) as part of the “Lunch on the Lawns” program, including a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, live music provided by The Royal Australian Navy Band South Australia: The Commodores, and football games provided by the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), of which the Governor is patron.
