On Thursday morning, at Government House, Canberra, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council, before returning to Adelaide.

Also in the morning, at Government House Adelaide, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the State of South Australia presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the opening night of ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’ by the State Opera of South Australia, of which Her Excellency and Mr Bunten are joint patrons.

During the day, students from Valley View Secondary School toured Government House.
