On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards the Governor received Mr Mick Sherry, Electoral Commissioner of South Australia, and Mr David Gully, Deputy Electoral Commissioner for the return of the Writs for the State election.

Later the Governor hosted investiture ceremonies for Australia Honours.

In the afternoon the Governor received Mr Stephen Gerlach AM, Chancellor, Flinders University.
