Later, at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Hospital School SA – Women’s and Children’s Hospital Campus, where they toured the facility and spoke with students and staff, before meeting Master Alexander Piffl, Mr Michael Piffl, and Mrs Belinda Piffl.

In the afternoon, at the Karen Rolton Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the 2024/2025 Sheffield Shield Final: South Australia v Queensland. The Governor is patron of the South Australian Cricket Association.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Aunty Angelena Harradine, Ngaduri Elder, Ms Nicola Palmer, Owners, Watervale Hotel.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the 2024 South Australian Tourism Award Winners.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner to acknowledge Ms Elaine Bensted, Chief Executive, Zoos SA. Guests were Mr Peter Bensted; Ms Julieann Riedstra, President, Zoos SA; Ms Kathryn House AM, Vice President; Dr Phil Ainsley, Director and incoming Chief Executive; Ms Sarah Brown, Director, Community Engagement; Mr Peter Clark, Director, Monarto Safari Park; Mr Darren Hastings, Director, Corporate Services; Mr Kevin McGuiness, Former President; and Mr David Sanders, Former President.
