On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards the Governor presided over the swearing-in of Dr James Muecke AM as Lieutenant-Governor of South Australia, before, together with Mr Bunten, hosting refreshments for those attending the ceremony.

In the afternoon the Governor received, individually, the Honourable Terry Stephens MLC; the Honourable Dan Cregan MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly and Member for Kavel; and the Honourable Vickie Chapman MP, Attorney-General and Member for Bragg.
