On Thursday morning, at SkyCity, Her Excellency the Governor officially opened the Committee for Adelaide’s 2025 International Women’s Day Breakfast. The Governor is patron of the Committee for Adelaide.

Afterwards, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, the Governor received Ms Kim Debenham, Assistant Secretary, Trade and Investment Strategy Branch, DFAT.

Afterwards, the Governor received Dr Stephanie Fahey.

In the afternoon, at Urrbrae, the Governor, accompanied by Ms Janet Stone, attended a performance of Quartets for You, part of the Adelaide Fringe.

In the evening, in the grounds of Government House, the Governor, as patron of the Australia Day Council of South Australia, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented awards at the Citizen of the Year Awards Ceremony.
