On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor, who is Chair of the South Australian Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee, spoke by telephone to Professor John Williams AM, Co-State Secretary, Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee for South Australia.
In the afternoon, the Governor held a virtual meeting with Dr Vivienne Thom AM.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor hosted a reception to celebrate the 130th anniversary of RDNS Silverchain.
Later, at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, the Governor attended the official launch of the Dale Chihuly exhibition, ‘Chihuly in the Botanic Garden’. The Governor and Mr Bunten are patrons of the Friends of the Botanic Gardens.
In the evening, at the North Adelaide Baroque Hall, the Governor addressed the guests and attended a performance of ‘Music Fit for a King: Mozart and Boccherini’ by Sally Walker and Friends.
