On Thursday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Rhonda Brighton-Hall, Chief Executive Officer, Mwah (Making Work Absolutely Human).

Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to the Honourable Dr Diana Laidlaw AM, and, afterwards, to the Honourable John Hill.

Later, at Adelaide Pavilion, Veale Gardens, the Governor, who, together with Mr Bunten, is joint patron of Grandcarers SA, addressed the gathering at the organisation’s inaugural conference and celebration event titled “The Big Village”.

Afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, visited Muirden Senior College for a tour and conversation with students and staff.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Rachael Azzopardi and Mr Lee Cumberlidge, Co-Founders and Creative Directors, Illuminate Adelaide.

Later, at Eleven, the Governor, who, together with Mr Bunten, is joint patron of the Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation, addressed the gathering and presented awards at the Children’s Research Foundation annual awards event.

Afterwards, by telephone, the Governor spoke to the Honourable Alexander Downer AC.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner for Members of the Shadow Cabinet and their partners.

During the day, students from Greenwith Primary School toured Government House.
