On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at the Wittunga Botanic Garden, Blackwood, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, officially opened the Wittunga Bird Garden.

In the afternoon, Mr Bunten received Ms Katherine Peach, Head of Business Development and Ms Jo O’Callaghan, Executive Director of Programs and Development, Adelaide Fringe.

Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to celebrate 140 years of the St Vincent de Paul Society South Australia.

Afterwards, at Pridham Hall, City West Campus, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering and presented graduates with their certificates at the Youth Governor’s Leadership Foundation 2024 Graduation.

In the evening, at Parliament House, the Governor attended the annual President of the Legislative Council’s dinner.
