On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Meredith Wyles, Chair, and Ms Heather Willis, President, Legacy Club of South Australia and Broken Hill. The Governor is patron of Legacy.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a Burns Supper. Guests were The Honourable Stephen Mullighan MP, Treasurer, and Mrs Antonia Mullighan; The Honourable Katrine Hildyard MP, Minister for Child Protection, Women and the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence, and Recreation, Sport and Racing, and Mr Charles Wright; Senator Andrew McLachlan CSC, Senator for South Australia and Mrs Marcia McLachlan; Ms Linda Williams APM LEM, Deputy Commissioner SAPOL and Mr Steve Williams; Professor Colin Stirling, Vice Chancellor, Flinders University, and Dr Mailys Stirling; Ms Julie Duncan, Director, Catherine House/Housing Choices South Australia, and Mr Phil Harrison; Mr Gavin Robertson, Executive Chef, Adelaide Convention Centre, and Mrs Merilyn Dayman; and Mr Keith Wilson, Chair, Australian Red Cross – South Australian Division and Ms Sheree Tirrell.
