On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted an investiture ceremony for Australian Honours.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a luncheon for official guests of the investiture ceremony. Guests were Ms Erma Ranieri PSM, Commissioner for Public Sector Employment; Mr Jeff Swann, Chief Officer, SA Metropolitan Fire Service, and Mrs Jane Swann; Mr Brett Loughlin AFSM, Chief Officer, SA Country Fire Service; Mr Rob Elliott, Chief Executive Officer, SA Ambulance Service, and Mrs Kylie Elliot; Mr Chris Beattie ESM, Chief Officer, SA State Emergency Service, and Mrs Melanie Beattie; Ms Hayley Mills, Acting Chief Executive, Department for Correctional Services; Ms Flavia de Pasquale OAM, Representing the State Chair, The Order of Australia Association (SA Branch); and Mr Andy McPharlin PSM, President, South Australia Public Service Medal Association, and Mrs Lynda McPharlin.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Richard Welling, Secretary, Numismatic Society of South Australia; Mr John Read, Owner, Eureka Coins, and Co-owner, Australian Coins, Banknotes and Collectables; and Mr Gary Needman, Co-Owner, Australian Coins, Banknotes and Collectables.

Later, the Governor received Mr Damien Walker, Chief Executive, Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr David Michell, Executive Director, Michell Wool; and Mrs Meg Michell.
