On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Gilles Plains, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited St Paul’s College, where they addressed and took questions from the students.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Allaster Cox, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, followed by a lunch.

Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd).

In the afternoon, the Governor received Mr Gerry Kandelaars, President, Cystic Fibrosis Australia, and Mrs Glenys Kandelaars. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of Cystic Fibrosis South Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Myron Mann, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms Kylie Luciano, General Manager, Government Relations & Collaboration, Bedford.

Later, the Governor participated in a roundtable discussion on Civics and Citizenship with 2024 Governor’s Civics Awards for Schools Student Awardees.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the presentation of the Governor’s 2024 Civics Awards for Schools.

In the evening, at The Courtyard of Curiosities at the Migration Museum, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a performance of SWAN?, part of the Adelaide Fringe.

Afterwards, at the Dunstan Playhouse, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a performance of ‘Housework’ by the State Theatre Company South Australia.
