On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
Afterwards at Government House, the Governor hosted the 4th Australia – Vietnam Economic Partnership Meeting. The Australian delegation was led by Senator the Honourable Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism, and the Vietnamese delegation by His Excellency Dr Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment, and included Ms Phan Thi Thang, Vice Minister, Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In the afternoon, at the Adelaide Marriott Hotel, the Governor addressed the guests at the Australia Vietnam Policy Institute Conference.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Brenton Caffin, Executive Director, Economic, Environment and Infrastructure Policy, and Mr Lucas Weterings, Director, State Development, Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
Later, also at Government House, the Governor, as patron of the Leaders Institute of South Australia, addressed and took questions from participants of the Governor’s Leadership Foundation program.
