On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
Afterwards at O'Halloran Hill, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests, unveiled a plaque and cut the ceremonial ribbon at the opening of the new Home Economics Lab at IQRA College.
In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Steph Lysaght, Consul-General, British Consulate General Melbourne; Mr Ian Smith AM, Honorary Consul, British Consulate Adelaide; Ms Kirsty Balnaves, President, SA Wine Industry Association; Mr Philipp Dautel, Precinct Director, Tonsley Innovation District, Renewal SA; Mr Ian Hill PSM, Managing Director, Adelaide Economic Development Agency; Ms Sharon Wilson, Continuous Naval Shipbuilding Strategy Director, ASC Shipbuilding, BAE Systems Australia; and Dr Jon Gorvett, Deputy Chief Executive, and Ms Carolyn Sladden, Director, Diplomatic Relations and Protocol, Department of Premier and Cabinet, followed by a luncheon.
In the afternoon at the University of Adelaide, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of The Multiple Sclerosis Society of South Australia & Northern Territory, attended a briefing on Multiple Sclerosis Research.
In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to celebrate 50 years of MS Australia.
Afterward at the Encounter Bay Bowling Club, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Annual Combined Service Club Dinner hosted by the Rotary Club of Encounter Bay.
