Her Excellency and Mr Bunten at Cummins Area School

On Thursday morning, Her Excellency and Mr Bunten continued their visit to the Eyre Peninsula, where they undertook a tour of Elliston accompanied by Mr Andrew McLeod, Mayor, and Mrs Nikki Becker, Chief Executive Officer, District Council of Elliston.

Afterwards, at Elliston, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited the Elliston Area School, where they met with staff and students and toured the facility.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten departed Elliston for Cummins, where, at Cummins Area School, they received a briefing and overview of the school, followed by a conversation with Student Voice Leaders, before returning to Adelaide.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor hosted a dinner to welcome the delegations attending the 8th Australia-China High Level Dialogue.

Also in the evening, at St Peter’s Cathedral, Mr Bunten attended the consecration of The Venerable Sophie Relf-Christopher.

During the day, members of the Woodbridge Retirement Village West Lakes toured Government House.

In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Chief Justice Christopher Kourakis, as Governor’s Deputy, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
