On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the morning, and again in the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted investiture ceremonies for Australian Honours.

In the afternoon, the Governor received members of the House of Assembly for the presentation of the Speaker of the House of Assembly.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Jane Johnston, Chief Executive, StudyAdelaide; Mr Sebastian Raneskold, Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), Flinders University; Mr Darren Turner, Head: Transnational Partnerships, University of South Australia; Ms Shirley Chung, Executive Director Future Students, University of Adelaide; Ms Narelle Slivak, Director International Education Services, Department for Education; and Ms Michelle Brown, Manager International Student Recruitment, TAFE SA.

Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to Ms Elly Lawson, Deputy Secretary, Strategic Planning and Coordination Group, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

In the evening, at Lot Fourteen, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Veterans SA Career and Business Mentoring Program launch event.
