On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Tony Metcalf OAM, Chair, and Mr Noel Hender, Secretary, The Order of Australia Association – South Australian Branch, of which the Governor is patron.

Later, on the Eastern Lawns, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering at the Guide Dogs Association of SA and NT’s 2024 World Sight Day Morning Tea. The Governor is patron of the Association.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Ruth Cairnie, Chair; Mr Andrew Cridland, Chief Executive Officer, Australasia; and Mr Mark Goldsack, Managing Director, AUKUS and International, Babcock International Group.

Later, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Marko Ham, Ambassador of Slovenia to Australia, and Mr Adrian Vatovec, Honorary Consul of Slovenia in South Australia.

In the evening, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the VIP function for the AFC Asian Qualifiers Match between Australia and China PR.
