On Sunday afternoon, at the Adelaide Festival Theatre, the Governor attended ‘The Malaysian Edit’ discussion, as part of OzAsia Festival.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten departed Adelaide for an official visit to Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY Lands).

In the evening, in Alice Springs, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner for APY stakeholders and service providers. Guests included Mr Richard King, General Manager, APY Lands; Mr Mark Jackman, General Manager, Regional Anangu Services Aboriginal Corporation; Mrs Tania King, Manager Stakeholder Engagement, APY Lands; Mrs Madonna Tomes, Workforce and Programs Development Manager, Regional Anangu Services Aboriginal Corporation; and Mr Rex Tjami, Chairperson, Mimili Community, Traditional Owner Mimili Community.

Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Dr James Muecke AM to be Governor’s Deputy from 3:30pm on Sunday, 5 November, 2023 to 12:30pm on Wednesday, 8 November, 2023.
