On Sunday morning at Torrens Parade Ground, Dr James Muecke AM, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia, on behalf of Her Excellency the Governor, placed a tribute at the Vietnam Veterans' Commemorative Service organised by The Returned and Services League of Australia (SA/NT Branch), of which the Governor is patron.

On Sunday evening at Government House, Northern Territory, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a dinner hosted by Her Honour The Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Mr Craig O’Halloran, followed by viewing the Darwin Festival event balarr inyiny or Light Dreaming.

Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Dr James Muecke AM to be Governor's Deputy from 12:00 pm on Sunday 21 August 2022 until 8:30 pm on Monday 22 August 2022.
