On Saturday morning Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, unveiled a plaque at the official opening of the newly redeveloped South Australian Women's Memorial Playing Fields at St Marys.

In the afternoon in the grounds of Government House, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of Cystic Fibrosis South Australia, addressed the guests at the ‘Time of Remembrance’ Memorial Service.

Later the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, as honorary members of the Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club, officially opened the 2022/2023 Sailing Season.
