On Saturday morning, in the grounds of Government House, Her Excellency the Governor, as patron of Legacy Club of South Australia and Broken Hill, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Legacy Youth Christmas Party.

Also, in the morning, at Kent Town, Mr Bunten attended the Christmas Markets of The South Australian Country Women's Association, of which the Governor is patron.

In the afternoon, at North Brighton, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of Minda, attended the Community Christmas Carols and Markets.

Later Saturday afternoon and on Sunday, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Cricket Association, and Mr Bunten, attended the NRMA Insurance Men’s Day Night Test Australia v India.
