On Saturday morning, at Government House, Mr Bunten, who is patron of the Orchid Club of South Australia, joined members of the Orchid Club in repotting the Government House orchid collection, followed by a morning tea.

In the afternoon, in the grounds of Government House, Her Excellency the Governor, as Deputy Prior of the Order of St John, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and presented awards at the St John Ambulance Australia SA Awards Day.

In the evening, at Adelaide Oval, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the gathering at the Flinders University 50 Years of Medicine Gala.
