On Monday morning, at Mile End, Her Excellency the Governor, as patron of the Royal Automobile Association (RAA), attended a briefing followed by luncheon with the RAA Board of Directors.

In the afternoon, the Governor departed Adelaide for a visit to flood affected areas in the Berri Barmera Council and the District Council of Loxton Waikerie, where, at the Big River Golf and Country Club, she hosted a dinner for Ms Ella Winnall, Her Worship the Mayor of the Berri Barmera Council; Mr Dylan Strong, Chief Executive Officer, Berri Barmera Council; Mr Trevor Norton, His Worship the Mayor of the District Council of Loxton Waikerie; Mr David Beaton, Chief Executive Officer, District Council of Loxton Waikerie; Mr Peter Hunter, His Worship the Mayor of the Renmark Paringa Council; and Mr Tony Siviour, Chief Executive Officer, Renmark Paringa Council.

Her Excellency the Governor has appointed Dr James Muecke AM to be Governor’s Deputy from 3:30pm on Monday, 26 June 2023 to 5pm on Tuesday, 27 June 2023.
